The car was delivered to its first owner Broadribb Bros. of Australia in December 1927. According to Vanden Plas records, this car was originally fitted with an 4- seat open touring body number 1435. Engine number RN 3048. Registration number BPB 908. In the late 1950's the car was owned by "Mick" Mingaye, but was sold in 1959 and exported overseas. It was one of the first cars to leave Australia.
In 1970, William Klein advertised the car as "This is a most original car, complete except top. Engine to be overhauled. As is $5,700.00 - complete engine overhaul $9,700.00."
The car currently has been refitted with a LeMans replica body, English registration number SL 9705.
